Aspreys provides long term, short term, respite, palliative and intermediate care, which enables older people to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their incapacities and disabilities. We continue to value each and every individual, who comes to stay at Aspreys. We welcome applications from people of all walks of life and with many different needs, which enjoy the opportunity to share and celebrate the richness and diversity of their experiences. All residents are assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes, with detailed care plans which include risk assessments that are completed within 48 hours of admission with the involvement of the resident and their family where possible.
We have an extensive nutritional menu catering for special dietary or cultural needs, providing flexibility and choice for our residents. Our meals are freshly prepared and cooked daily, offering two menu choices each and every day. The menu choice is prepared in advance, which is nutritionally balanced, catering for individual needs to be accommodated. Residents may choose where they eat their meals either in the lounge or dining room if they prefer, or in the comfort of their own room.
We are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of our service. We have a comprehensive Policies and Procedures Manual, with all significant policies contained here including the complaints procedure. An important part of our approach to quality assurance is to obtain the views of our stakeholders, particularly those of the residents, relative and their representatives. This is done through regular reviews with individual residents and on more general matters through meetings with residents and their relatives. We strive on continuous development to maintain and improve the quality of life for the residents and the care we provide.
